Delete Your EVizee Account

1. About this page
This page explains how to request that your EVizee account and associated data be deleted. EVizee is the EV community platform operated by its founder at evizee.co. The same instructions apply whether you signed up with email and password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign In.
2. Delete your account from the app
The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the EVizee mobile app:
- Open the EVizee app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Once confirmed, your account is queued for deletion immediately. You will be signed out on every device, and any active subscription will continue to be managed through the App Store or Google Play (cancel there to stop billing).
3. Or request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request to hello@evizee.co from the email address associated with your account, including:
- The subject line "Account deletion request"
- Your account email or username
- (Optional) the reason — feedback helps us improve, but it is not required
We will verify the request comes from the account owner and confirm by email. Your account will be deleted within 30 days of verification, and usually much sooner.
4. What we delete
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:
- Email address and hashed password
- Google and Apple sign-in identifiers linked to the account
- Profile fields: username, display name, avatar, vehicle model, supported connectors
- Spark balance and earned badges
- Refresh tokens and active sessions on every device
- Push-notification device tokens
- In-app notifications addressed to you
- AI trip-plan request counts used for free-tier metering
- Active charging check-ins
5. What we keep (and why)
The community relies on accurate charging-station data, so contributions you made to public community content are retained in anonymized formafter deletion. Your name, avatar, and account identifiers are removed; the content stays attributed to a generic "deleted user".
- Charging stations you submitted, confirmed, or flagged
- Photos attached to those stations
- Station reviews and ratings
- Community posts, comments, and votes
If you need a specific piece of community content removed (for example a photo or a comment that contains personal information), include it in your deletion request and we will take it down as part of the same workflow.
6. Retention periods
- Account and personal data: deleted within 30 days of a verified request.
- Encrypted database backups: may contain your data for up to 35 days after deletion before they age out and are overwritten on rolling schedule.
- Server access logs (request method, URL, status, IP address): retained up to 30 days for security and abuse-prevention, then automatically rotated.
- Records required by law (such as billing records held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat for tax and refund purposes): kept for the period required by the relevant jurisdiction. We do not control these retention windows.
- Anonymized community content: retained indefinitely so that other drivers can continue to rely on station data. No personal identifiers remain attached.
7. Subscriptions
Deleting your EVizee account does not automatically cancel a Pro subscription. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled by the relevant store under their own policies.
